FATW3 week 8 - Arizona Winter Evening

Last week's Friends Around the World CAL pattern comes from the US (I finished making most of it last week, just didn't blog about it then). It is called "Arizona Winter Evening" and the designer is Kristin Hartt, a fibre artist who lives in Arizona, USA.

My version of this square can be seen in the photo below. I decided that I was getting behind in my use of red in my squares so this one has a bit more red so it can be used in the "red" blanket. I got a bit behind with adding the extra three rounds so this is just finished to the end of Kristin's written pattern. At some stage I'm sure I'll get the extra three rounds added before the squares get blocked and joined together
