Friends around the world 3 (FATW3) crochet along

I'm was privileged to be invited to design a square for a crochet-along that begins this Friday (Saturday in New Zealand). The above photo shows 30 of the 33 squares. See if you can guess which is mine (eventually it will be clear when I post the pattern here).

The Friends Around the World 3rd Anniversary CAL 2018 (lovingly referred to as FATW3) is starting soon! Join us on Friday, November 16th to get in on the fun! The CAL is a collaboration of crochet designers from around the world and will be hosted by the CAL - Crochet A Long Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/groups/668646249929007/. There will also be videos for the CAL. A few of the designers have created their own, the rest will be by made Stephanie Shelton of https://itscrochetoclock.com


Be sure to join the group first (link above) and then join the event https://www.facebook.com/events/2158326031093994/?ti=icl so you won't miss a thing. It’s always fun to share your photos as you progress through the CAL. You may do so on both the event page and the group wall. 
And feel free to share your colours prior to the CAL starting.

The afghan is made up of 12" squares using Aran/Worsted weight yarn, (10" squares if you use DK weight yarn). There are 33 squares in all, designed by 29 designers. The links to the patterns will be shared weekly on the CAL – Crochet A Long Blog, https://calcrochetalong.com at 10:00 am CDT (that’s Chicago, IL USA) on Fridays. The CAL will run through early June, 2019.
