Kōwhai Christmas Angel Pattern

This little Christmas angel pattern was inspired by the native kōwhai tree. I had lots of fun designing it in the original 3 colours I used but I have also made several in a range of different colours (including some in a single colour). For some of the angels I incorporated beads into the body and wings of the angels. Because they are quite textured, they generally will stand up by themselves. 

You can also leave off the wings and it looks a little like a bell made of little bells. I made one version where I incorporated little bells instead of beads and left off the wings.
