Crochet textured waves
Introduction
I'm not 100% sure where I first came across this stitch pattern but I really loved the look of it. The stitch pattern consists of stitches worked only in the back loop (after the first row) and you only need to know two basic stitches for it - slip stitch and half double crochet.
To make this in rows you will need to chain a multiple of 10 plus 1. Since I'm doing a square for my stitch challenge anyway, I thought I'd demonstrate this by making my first square in rows as the example. Ie, in this case beginning with 11 chains.
After row 1, all stitches are worked in the back loop only.
